There has been much press recently about attacks on servers and workstations. Ransomware is a threat to your POS system. Consider a pro-active approach to security and review all your current hardware.

Hardware Update

At POSitec, we maintain records of warranty expiration dates for all POSitec hardware purchases. In reviewing these records, it is apparent that stores may be vulnerable based on the age of their hardware.  Over the coming months, we will be reaching out to those stores to review your current hardware inventory.  We continue to negotiate with manufacturers to procure competitive pricing that we can in turn pass on to you, our customer.

Announcing…

I am very pleased to announce the appointment, effective June 2017, of Mark Dunlop to Vice President of POSitec Solutions. Mark comes to us with a 25-year career in Point-of-Sale, most recently as Vice President of Sales. He was instrumental in driving sales and increasing profitability and will bring this expertise to POSitec as we continue to grow.

I am also pleased to announce the promotion of Bill Fletcher to the position of Director of Sales, Marketing and Deployment Services. Bill has been with POSitec Solutions for over 15 years and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and understanding of Retail Pharmacy and Point-of-Sale Solutions.
